Data Deletion Instructions
Effective October 13, 2026
Use these steps to disconnect a third-party account or request deletion of information associated with a Vela account.
Request deletion
Email daraab@cmbsolutionsinc.com. Use the subject Vela data deletion request and identify the clinic and connected account involved. Clinic administrators should use the address associated with their Vela account. People who contacted a clinic through social media can identify the clinic, platform, and their own social account without needing a Vela login. Do not include patient or clinical information, passwords, or access tokens in the email.
Verification
We will verify the requester's identity and the scope of the request before acting. A clinic-wide disconnection or deletion requires an authorized clinic representative; a person requesting deletion of their own social data does not need to administer the clinic. We may ask a clinic representative to confirm the request while signed in to Vela.
What is deleted
Once verified, we will delete the requested connected-account data that Vela is not required to retain. For clinic-wide disconnection and deletion requests, this includes revoking the applicable connection and removing stored access credentials. Connected-account data can include Page and ad account identifiers, imported campaign records, creative files, marketing performance data, social messages and comments, attachment references, and associated social identifiers. Deleting Vela's copy does not delete the original content held by Meta; requests concerning that content must also be made through the relevant platform.
Records we may retain
We may retain limited security, legal, billing, and audit records when required by law or a clinic agreement. Those records remain protected and are no longer used to operate the disconnected integration. Simply disconnecting an account stops new processing through that connection but does not itself delete existing Vela records.
